Welcome to the year of Water Dragon !
A Chinese proverb states that all creations are reborn on New Year’s day. The Chinese New Year is a celebration of change ... out with the old and in with the new!
ON NEW YEAR’s DAY:
Decorate your home with symbols of good fortune. Here are some suggestions:
- Colors: Bright red (happiness); gold/orange (wealth & happiness). - Fruits: Oranges and tangerines (good health & long life); tangerines with leaves intact - Circular candy tray (candy for sweet and circular for togetherness). - Flowers: If flowers bloom on New Year’s Day, it will be a prosperous year. - Red banners or couplets with New Year wishes and symbols of good fortune in gold.
Some Fengshui tips for this time : GRAND DUKE JUPITER / TAI SUI 太岁 : This year, the Grand Duke is sitting at 120°SE1, or E5 mountain. Avoid working desk facing south east or undergoing renovation in that area.
THREE KILLINGS / SAN SHA 三煞 South is where San Sha is located for 2012. This is an area not to be disturbed by heavyworks and knocking either. If you are undergoing renovation, be careful with the south area.
Gong Xi Fa Cai !!!!!!
